What you’ll do at ZPM
As a Product Owner you work alongside CEO to translate technical vision into executable roadmap, providing lifecycle management, from priorisation to quality control, to the product development team. Work cross functionally with other leadership (Operations and Business Development) to ensure realistic targets around growth and delivery.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Product Strategy & Roadmap (working with CEO)
- Own the roadmap, sprint plan and backlog - maintaining all documentation
- Establish lightweight but scalable product-development tool-chain; automate reporting so engineers stay focused on execution
- Ensure delivery priorities are aligned with longer term product objectives
- Prioritize features and requirements based on technical feasibility, business impact and performance constraints
- Break down high-level product goals into engineering requirements, user stories / tasks and technical milestones
Product Lifecycle Management
- Manage end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept > design & prototyping > fabrication & process development > packaging & assembly
- Monitor and track product performance & field reliability - establishing a bank of data to ensure we’re measuring our progress
- Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams
- Manage task allocation across technical teams and run daily stand-up process to ensure delivery teams are focused on the right priorities and meeting roadmap deadlines
- Serve as the primary interface between CEO, Head of Operations and Engineering to ensure technical alignment in terms of roadmap priorities
- Work with Head of BD to define go-to-market strategies and ensure sales messaging aligns with product roadmap
- Conduct retrospectives to feed insights into future development cycle
The experience you have:
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager in a deep-tech, semiconductor, photonics, or hardware/software integration environment
• Strong background in product lifecycle management, from concept through prototyping, fabrication, packaging, and field reliability tracking
• Demonstrated success in building and managing product roadmaps, sprint planning, backlog prioritisation, and release cycles
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to align technical and business goals
• Ability to translate high-level technical vision into executable user stories, tasks, and milestones for engineering teams
• Familiarity with agile processes (e.g., running daily stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog grooming) in fast-paced environments
• Skilled at prioritising features and technical requirements based on feasibility, business value, and performance constraints
• Track record of managing tech debt and driving predictable, high-quality product delivery
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively between technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience supporting go-to-market strategies and aligning sales messaging with product development
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to track field reliability, gather product performance data, and drive continuous improvement
